Help us celebrate the end of the week and the start of another delicious weekend with “Sweet Little Something”. We’ll each post a photograph from our goings-on, something we witnessed, created, loved or just thought was amazing. If you wish, leave us a comment–or haiku!–about what one of the photos means to you. We love hearing from you and every so often we have surprise giveaways for our lovely commenters. XO H & R

From Ria:
B2 is too dramatic for “No!”, she prefers to answer “Never!”. It’s a bit like living with some kind of swashbuckling heroine. “Darling, time to brush your teeth” “Never!” “Sweetie, you need to wear pants” “Never!”.
This photograph is of an engraving on a cannon in Hvar, Croatia. The real meaning has nothing at all to do with resistant threenagers but when I look at it I can’t help but think of B2. She’s got a bad case of the Nevers.
Ha ha! I can see her now!
Hah!! She does have a case of the “nevers” and she does the eye squint and nose scrunch with it!! Shiver me timbers!
So true, Kendall, it’s that pirate face only a mother could love. And an Aunty. And a bestie from the Northern Hemisphere. 😉 x
